Emirates official airline for law conference

ABU DHABI, July 3

EMIRATES airline has been selected as official international carrier for the 13th Commonwealth Law Conference in Melbourne to be held in April 2003. This is for the first time the international meeting will be held in Australia.

The airline was chosen after a competitive tender against the Australian national carrier, Qantas, as well as Malaysian and Singapore Airlines, amongst others, according to a statement from Emirates Airline on Wednesday.

More than 2,500 delegates from all parts of the Commonwealth are expected to attend the conference between April 13 and 17, 2003 at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
