Karnataka lorry owners' plea

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: The Federation of Karnataka Lorry Owners' Association has urged the State Government to reconsider the ban on old lorries in the city.

The ban on vehicles should be based on their condition and not age, the association said. The State Government had recently ruled that vehicles over 15 years of age would be levied a green tax.
