CD-ROM on 2.5-lakh cos' financials

NEW DELHI, June 29

THE Minister for Law, Justice and Company Affairs, Mr Arun Jaitley, has released a CD-ROM containing a large database on key financial statistics of 2,45,366 registered companies in the country. Titled `First Source', the CD-ROM has been developed jointly by the Department of Company Affairs (DCA) and the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy.
