Railways Golden Triangle Rail Plan hailed
COIMBATORE: The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore (ICCIC) has welcomed the Railway Minister's announcement of the `Golden Triangle Rail Plan' linking Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore. The ICCIC President, Mr A.V. Varadharajan, while welcoming this move, has appealed for allotment of sufficient funds for expeditious implementation of the plan. The Chamber has reiterated its plea for gauge conversion of the Coimbatore-Dindigul metre-gauge line.
