Our Bureau

BANGALORE: The Bangalore-based Avestha Gengraine Technologies has been rated among top five life sciences companies for its business plan during the TiEcon 2002 held in Silicon Valley recently.

It was among the 200 bio-tech and IT companies which presented their business plans at the world's largest meet on entrepreneurship, a company release said.

With a high rating by venture funds such as Alta partners, Burril and Co and Vernock Associates, Avesthagen, like the select club, will be open to new trade alliances, according to Dr Villoo Morawala Patell, CEO.

Avesthagen was rated high for its mission, problems addressed, market size, competition, expertise, customer and strategic partners.
