Clarification

The National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories (NFCSF) has clarified that the name of the Indian Sugar and General Export Import Corporation (ISGEC) has been changed to Indian Sugar Exim Corporation (ISEC). It has pointed out that ISEC is the trading arm of both NFCSF and the Indian Sugar Mills' Association (ISMA) and not as given in the report "ISGEC sells 50,000 t sugar to Bangladesh" published in these columns on Wednesday.
