GMP certification for ayurveda firm

KOCHI: Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala, one of the pioneers and proponents of traditional ayurveda for almost seven decades, has been awarded GMP certification to its manufacturing unit by the Drug Control authorities.

It was established in 1933 and now has around 50 branches and more than 100 agencies. It had also set up full-fledged treatment divisions in Hyderabad, Kannur and Thodupuzha, and is planning projects in Kottayam, Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam, a press release said.
