Leadership matters

It is heartening to note the performances of the three erstwhile weak banks — Indian Bank, UCO Bank and United Bank of India for 2001-02.

These banks have proved that ultimately leadership and top management matter when it comes to performance. These three banks were almost written off a few years ago, but they have bounced back with vengeance.
