DCA cell settles 266 complaints

NEW DELHI, June 7

THE Investors Protection Cell in the Department of Company Affairs (DCA) has settled 266 complaints of investors in April. All the complaints related to individual investors and depositors. During the month, the regional benches of the Company Law Board (CLB) issued orders for payment of deposits in 199 cases (applications) under Section 58A of the Companies Act, 1956 and Section 45Q(2) of the RBI Act, 1934.

The CLB also disposed of 288 applications of depositors under other Sections of the Companies Act.
