AP-Goa tourism co-operation

THE Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) and the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote tourism in both States through mutual cooperation.
Under the MoU, both Corporations, through their reservation and booking offices and authorised agents, would be handling the booking of hotel rooms, cottages and accommodation facilities in the respective States.
The conducted tours, beach tourism, sound and light shows, cruises and other tourist-related activity would also be brought under the purview of the cooperation, according to a spokesman of APTDC.
APTDC will also make LTC packages to Goa in its transport fleet and utilise the accommodation facilities of GTDC. Similarly, GTDC would also make special LTC packages for holidays in Andhra Pradesh.
The Corporations have also agreed to utilise each other's facilities and infrastructure for marketing of tourist destination of both the States. The MoU was signed by Mr Pramod K. Shetye, Managing Director, GTDC and Mr. C. Anjaneya Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of APTDC.
