Software Zezan to develop CRM solution for AP Govt V. Rishi Kumar
HYDERABAD, June 5 THE Andhra Pradesh Government has enlisted the services of a Hyderabad-based IT services firm Zezan Marketing Pvt Ltd, to develop a customer relationship management (CRM) package to handle Government interface with investors and IT industries. With the Information Technology and Communication Department now entrusted the task and responsibility for the development of the IT sector involving promotion of investments and facilitating the development of the local industry, the Government felt the need to evolve a methodology to streamline its interface with investors. Based on this requirement, the Government had decided to develop a comprehensive customer relationship management tool that could be useful to industries and also help the tourism industry with suitable modifications. Zezan Marketing, who are already engaged with the Department of IT &C, and maintain the department Web-site, as also the State Government site, are familiar with the needs of the department and have also developed a related product for contact management. Following this move, Zezan has now been engaged to handle deployment of the CRM solution in the IT and ITES wings of the Department, create the necessary database, provide necessary user training and also maintain and handhold the staff through to manage the facility. In view of the changing needs of investors, who seek information online, the IT&C Department has mandated Zezan to deploy the contact management solution that has been approved for deployment by the Government. To facilitate the deployment of the new CRM package, which is expected to take about three months, the Government has passed an order handing the task to Zezan Marketing, it is learnt.
