Canon unveils 12 products

KOCHI: Canon has introduced 12 new-generation `wonder dozen' products in the Kerala market to further increase its market share.

The line-up unveiled included three bubble jet printers, two image class multi-functional peripherals, six multimedia projection devices and a scanner.

Mr Alok Bharadwaj, General Manager, Consumer System Product Division, said that the company has 30 per cent of the market share for inkjet printers in Kerala, the highest for Canon in the country. Its national share is only 15 per cent.

To further increase its market share and emerge as the leading player in the imaging solutions market in the country, the company has initiated aggressive marketing strategies.

The market is growing at the rate of 25 per cent and the company is looking for Rs 500 crore business in the next three years.
