Award for Indian Airlines

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Government has selected Indian Airlines for its tourism award of excellence for 2001 in recognition for the facilities and passenger friendly initiatives initiated in the State, according to an Indian Airlines communique.

The domestic tourists were offered a wide range of holiday packages at hill resorts, pilgrimage centres and holiday destinations and tourists travelling in groups were offered discounts. This award is to be presented by the Chief Minister, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, next month, according to Mr Sunil Kishen, Station Manager, Indian Airlines.
