Enterprise Resource Planning Beacon plans .Net ERP package Our Bureau
CHENNAI, May 16 THE city-based Beacon Software Systems Ltd plans to launch a .Net (of Microsoft) version of the small and medium enterprise (SME) ERP (enterprise resource planning). The company's BusinessPlus solution is an ERP package that integrates processes such as sales and marketing, materials, production, inventory, quality, warehouse and distribution, product development and maintenance. The package was priced between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 6 lakh, depending on the number of users and the nature of integration, the company's Director, Mr S.P. Annamalai, told reporters here on Thursday. The company also plans to `aggressively' tap the Indian market, Africa, West Asia and Europe for products and services. So far, the company's focus has been on the South East Asian countries, he said. The company's promoters (Crombes Holdings, Factory Systems Pte Ltd., Singapore and an NRI) would together contribute around Rs 50 lakh for the expansion plan including marketing expenses. The company's paid-up capital was Rs 184 lakh (Crombes 80 per cent, and the rest shared between Factory Systems and the NRI).
