Events Kerala: Food Advisory Council meets today
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The reconstituted Food Advisory Council will hold its first meeting here on Tuesday. The council last met in 1999. It was set up a year before on a directive from the Centre. The council would act as a forum for discussing emerging trends in PDS, besides suggesting specific measures with a view to infusing a sense of purpose into the system. It has met only once so far.
