Infam campaign from today

Our Bureau

KOCHI: The Indian Farmers Movement (Infam), Kerala will start a campaign on May 6 to highlight what it described as the Government's inaction to protect the farmers.

A press release said that public functions would be held in all panchayats till May 14 to inform the people on what the Government had promised to do for farmers before the elections and how it had been trying to suppress Infam in various ways.

"The State Government has failed to set up an agency to procure agro products for which there was Central Government aid too. Infam has used these facilities to provide the farmers a good price," the release added.
