BHEL division profit up

BANGALORE: The Electronics Division of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), Bangalore, has registered a turnover of Rs 468 crore, with a pre-tax profit of Rs 46 crore for the year 2001-02, a rise of 15 per cent and 176 per cent respectively over the previous year.

The telecom unit contributed to 20 per cent of the total turnover of electronics division during the year.
