Dip in registration of cos limited by shares

NEW DELHI: There has been a progressive decline in the registration of companies limited by shares due to the economic slowdown.

The number of companies limited by shares registered during 1999-2000, 2000-01 and 2001-02 was 31,289, 27,187 and 20,927 respectively.
