Exporters active at coffee auction

BANGALORE: The Indian Coffee Traders' Association auctions on Thursday saw exporters active, while the domestic trade made need based buys. Prices for washed arabicas cherries were down by Rs 2-3 while robusta washed and cherry coffees traded at last levels. Internationally markets are expected to continue trading sideways.

Prices were as follows: Arabica parchment PB Rs 56.82 per kg (Rs 57.58 last week); arabica parchment A Rs 58.40 (Rs 59.18); arabica parchment B Rs 53 (Rs 53.80); arabica parchment C Rs 49.08 (Rs 46.44); arabica parchment BBB Rs 27.84 (Rs 25.06).

Arabica cherry PB Rs 35.08 (Rs 37.06); arabica cherry AB Rs 39.52 (Rs 40.64); arabica cherry C Rs 24.46 (not traded); arabica cherry BBB Rs 21.90 (Rs 22.98).

Robusta parchment PB Rs 26.94 (Rs 27); robusta parchment AB Rs 35.06 (Rs 35.16); robusta parchment BBB Rs 20.88 (Rs 21.30).

Robusta cherry PB Rs 26.42 (Rs 25.26); robusta cherry AB Rs 27.52 (Rs 27); robusta cherry BBB Rs 20.94 (Rs 20.70). — Our Bureaus
