Software LMS launches Virtual.Lab Our Bureau
BANGALORE: Flemish company LMS International has launched Virtual.Lab, its new product suite for virtual prototype simulation. The solution helped to predict, measure and refine acoustics and vibration in virtual models of engineering products. The Virtual.Lab was a cost and time-saving technology for manufacturers as it eliminated a prototype test cycle, Mr Peter de Clerck, Manager, LMS International-Asia, said. Based on the software of LMS's strategic partner Dassault Systems, the Virtual.Lab is aimed at automotive, defence, aerospace, telecom, consumer electronics and OEM manufacturing sectors. Mr De Clerck said with a revenue of over euro 80 million, LMS International had among its customers GM, Ford, Hyundai, Daimler Chrysler, Honda, Volkswagen, Toyota and Harley Davidson; Airbus, Boeing, Loral, Nokia and ABB. In India, it services Mahindra & Mahindra, Telco, Bajaj, TVS, ADA, GTRE, DRDL and BARC among others.
