Engineers India in pact with Ministry

NEW DELHI: State-owned Engineers India Ltd on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, setting a target of Rs 684 crore for the value of services to be rendered in 2002-03.

EIL had recently secured assignments from oil companies, valued at over Rs 1,200 crore, according to a company statement. The company is currently implementing a major refinery, pipeline and other process plants in India, besides assignments in Algeria, Iran, Kuwait and UAE.
