Public Sector Banks PNB business up 17.5 pc Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: Punjab National Bank's total business at the end of March 2002 has crossed Rs 1,00,000-crore mark. Its total business stood at Rs 86,000 crore the previous year, registering a growth of 17.5 per cent. Aggregate deposits at the end of March 2002 were Rs 63,741 crore compared to Rs 55,412 crore in March 2001, a growth of 15 per cent. Credit of the bank amounted to over Rs 37,000 crore compared to Rs 30,521 crore at the end of March 2001.
