Kerala: Traders' protest over delay in meeting

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Vyapari Vyavasayi Samithi, an association of traders in the State, has protested against the delay on the part of the State Government in convening a meeting of the Welfare Fund Board for traders and disbursement of benefits to member traders.

According to Mr A. Rahim, Secretary of the Samithi, a meeting of the Welfare Fund Board had not be convened for the last three years.
