BPL healthcare division targets 50 pc growth

BANGALORE, April 2

BPL's healthcare business group aims to report a 50-per cent growth in the current financial year, a company news release has said.

The Chairman of BPL, Mr Ajit Nambiar, said that the division had recorded "remarkable progress'' in the last fiscal and the company was "confident'' of grabbing a greater market share with its new products.

The division recently launched CARDIAT 6208 multi-channel thermal array recorder which provides easy-to-read ECG printing facility from the unit.

Moreover, in the homecare segment, BPL Healthcare has launched nebulisers that caters to asthmatic patients. The division planned to sell 20,000 units, the release added.
