Karnataka: `No special sops for MNCs'

BANGALORE: The Industries Minister, Mr R.V. Deshpande, has said that the Government was not giving special incentives to multinational companies.

Answering questions pertaining to his Ministry in the Legislative Council, Mr Deshpande also informed that the State-level single-window agency had cleared seven project proposals in the last two years. He said Pepsico India Holding Ltd and Hindustan Cocacola Bottling Southwest Pvt Ltd had been provided tax exemptions as per the State's industrial policy.
