Sanjiv Gupta is now Dy President of Coca-Cola

NEW DELHI, March 27

COCA-COLA has appointed Mr Sanjiv Gupta as Deputy President of the India division of the company, an office he assumes from April 1, 2002.

According to a company communiqué, Mr Gupta would continue as the head of Coca-Cola India's bottling operations, which recorded a nine per cent growth in volumes in 2001.

He has been credited with some of the new initiatives undertaken by the company, including the launch of Kinley.
