IA reschedules flights

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Indian Airlines has rescheduled passenger flights between Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore from March 29 to 31 due to operational reasons.

Under the revised schedule, the departure from Bangalore will be at 12.30 p.m and arrival in Thiruvananthapuram at 1.35 p.m. The flight leaves Thiruvananthapuram at 2.05 p.m. to arrive at Kochi at 2.45 p.m. Departing Kochi at 3.15 p.m, it will reach Bangalore at 4.15 p.m and terminate there.

The national carrier has also cancelled the Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram-Male flights on March 29 in deference to the ritualistic `arattu' procession taken out from the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple which, by custom, wends its way across the airfield to the Shankhumukham beach where it ends.
