Nabard sanctions Rs 85.6 cr to Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nabard has sanctioned Rs 85.6 crore to the State from its Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), according to a bank spokesman.

The funds will be utilised towards completion of 28 rural projects spread over 13 districts, 16 bridge projects in 13, 29 minor irrigation schemes in six and 108 rural market yards in 12 districts. The second phase of the Onattukara drainage and flood protection project is another beneficiary.
