Supply Chain Management Info-Tech - Software ASB-Air ties up with Lufthansa Systems Our Bureau
HYDERABAD, March 19 PANALPINA subsidiary ASB-Air, and Lufthansa Systems, a supplier of IT services for the aviation industry, have signed a contract for the implementation of a new logistics solution for the former. Lufthansa Systems will help develop AirWarder, an integrated system for logistics providers with large volumes of air cargo. AirWarder consists of Lufthansa Systems' cargo system, UltraFreight, featuring a pro-active tracking and tracing module and a booking forecast engine. AirWarder will become operational in the third quarter of this year.
