`Stress cause for road mishaps'

BANGALORE: Stress, which causes physical and mental tension, can lead to road accidents. The causative factors for stress include poor time management leading to rush hour traffic mishaps, according to experts in health sciences at a workshop on Traffic Management.

Bangalore alone accounts for more than 10 per cent of the fatal traffic accidents in the State. An average of 6,500 persons are killed every year in accidents in the State, they pointed out.
