THE Tamil Nadu Government should constitute a State-level medicinal plants' board as recommended by the Health Ministry, to enable farmers and entrepreneurs to source funds from Centrally-sponsored schemes and to encourage the commercial cultivation of medicinal plants, according to the Cuddalore District Herbal Plant Growers' Association.

The Association Secretary, Mr S. The board should include farmers' representatives, he said.
