Our Bureau

NEW DELHI: Coca-Cola has dropped prices of its 1.5 and 2-litre PET bottles. While 1.5 litre PET bottles from Coca-Cola is priced at Rs 38, the 2-litre pack is priced at Rs 43.

These price points already exist for Pepsi. Coca-Cola has also flagged off its 200-ml and home package summer campaign. The Thums Up television commercial stars Salman Khan highlighting the `chhota' Thums Up 200 ml pack and has been created by Leo Burnett. The creative for the `chhota' Coke commercial is handled by McCann Erickson. A press release from the company says that the two commercials will give the strategy the push it needs to make the national roll-put penetrative in all classes of consumers. The commercials carry the brand messages of both brands with the stress on the small pack advantage to consumers.
