Naveen Kshatriya to head Castrol

MUMBAI, March 13

CASTROL India Ltd has had a change of guard. The company today announced the retirement of its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ram Savoor. Mr Naveen Kshatriya, Castrol's Director Marketing, Asia-Pacific Business, will take over as MD and CEO on May 1.

Mr Clyde D'Mello, Associate President for BP in India, will take on additional responsibility as Business Unit Leader (India, West Asia, South Asia and Africa).

Mr Savoor has been with Castrol for the last 34 years and will continue to remain on the company board as non-executive director, a statement said.
