Sheet rubber improves

KOTTAYAM: Sheet rubber market improved further while block rubber and latex stayed flat here on Tuesday compared to the prices on Monday.

While buying interest was strong, arrivals were low. Traders offered better rate to attract supply, but they could not buy enough quantum.

Sheet rubber RSS 4 firmed up to Rs 30.25 from Rs 30 per kg on Monday and RSS 5 to Rs 28.75 from Rs 28.50. Ungraded rubber also rose to Rs 27.75 from Rs 27.50 per kg. Block rubber ISNR 20 at Rs 28.50 and latex concentrate at Rs 27.50 per kg remained unchanged.
