Fleetguard forms joint venture for filter paper

PUNE: The city-based Fleetguard Filters Pvt. Ltd and Hollingsworth & Vose GmbH & Co. KG of Germany have formed a 50:50 joint venture — Filtration Technologies India Pvt. Ltd — to manufacture special grade filter paper. The venture would act as the global hub for the special grade filter paper. The plant, located at Nandur near Pune, has a capacity of two tonnes per day and would produce 10 different grades of filter paper, an official statement has said.
