Ad Club Madras awards ceremony

Our Bureau

CHENNAI: The Advertising Club Madras, which is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, is all set to announce its annual awards for the best advertising campaigns of last year. The awards, which cover 25 categories in print, radio and television, will be announced on March 29, says a release from Ad Club.

The event, earlier called the CAT awards show, has been re-christened SPArK 2002 this year, and the awards will henceforth be called the SPArK awards, the release adds. In keeping with the new identity, the trophy that the winners in various categories will receive, has also been re-designed in the shape of a matchstick, finished with burnished steel, says the release.
