CHENNAI, March 4

THERE'S some good news for all those who love self-help books. Macmillan India Ltd has launched Tamil and Punjabi editions of motivational guru Shiv Khera's best-seller — You can win.

While Khera officially launched the Tamil version in Chennai on Monday, the Punjabi edition will be formally unveiled on March 9, in Amritsar.

According to Macmillan, more such editions in regional languages such as Marathi, Bengali, and Gujarati will soon follow. Also on the anvil are editions in Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Oriya, adds a release from the company.

Speaking at the launch function at the Higginbotham's book store in Chennai, Khera said that two more of his books would soon hit the stands. While one is titled You can lead, the other will be called There's no free lunch..

He said that his book was "not a Harvard-Princeton kind of work," and added that the regional language editions were acceptable as long as they appealed to logic and emotions and were simple to read.
