Derivatives Markets MgSE camp on derivatives Our Bureau
MANGALORE, Feb. 25 THE Mangalore Stock Exchange (MgSE) has organised a two-day training camp on derivatives. The ISE and the ISS Chairman, Mr M.R. Mayya, the ISS Managing Director, Mr V. Shanker, the Refco-Sify Securities Manager (Institutional Sales), Mr Yuvraj Sehgal, the NSE Vice-President, Mr R. Sundararaman, and the SEBI Chief General Manager, Mr Nagendra Parakh, were the main speakers. The topics covered during the training programme included an introduction to derivatives, concepts and definitions, index management, futures and options, operational mechanics, trading strategies and risk management, clearing and settlement, and the regulatory framework for F&O. Forty-three participants comprising brokers, investors and others participated in the programme, according to an MgSE press release.
