UP Govt signs MoU with ITDC

NEW DELHI, Feb. 22

THE India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for promotion of tourism and taking initiatives in the field of tourism and hotel management related services.

The MoU facilitates UPSTDC to utilise ITDC's expertise and resources in the areas of travel, tourism engineering, hoteliering and consultancy services.

Ashok Reservation Marketing Services (ARMS), the marketing division of ITDC, will market UPSTDC's hotels and its various packages. Besides, Ashok Travel and Tours will develop new package tours jointly for promoting and marketing Uttar Pradesh as well as outbound and inbound tours from Uttar Pradesh to other parts of the country and abroad.
