Rubber market weakens

KOTTAYAM: The rubber market weakened as few buyers made commitment despite enquiring about the supply and price.

Traders pared down offer price for sheet rubber and block rubber ISNR 20, but the latex market remained flat.

Sheet rubber RSS 4 declined to Rs 30 from Rs 30.25 per kg on Saturday. RSS 5 slipped to Rs 28.50 from Rs 28.75 and block rubber ISNR 20 to Rs 28 from Rs 28.50. Ungraded rubber also slid a tad to Rs 27 from Rs 27.25. Latex 60 per cent remained flat at Rs 28 per kg.
