MUMBAI: The Rs 5,000-crore auction of the 8.07 per cent 2017 paper of the RBI has been fully subscribed with the central bank assigning a price of Rs 108.06 (YTM--7.1798 per cent) to the paper.

The RBI received 328 bids of Rs 8,494 crore and accepted 152 bids of Rs 5,000 crore.

Prices in the bond market fell by around 10-15 paise on the auctions results. "Market players had pegged the price of the auction paper at around Rs 108.25-30. This is definitely not good news,'' said one dealer.
