NEW DELHI: The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved in situ promotion of Mr K.M. Chandrasekhar, an IAS officer of the 1970 batch, Ambassador and Permanent Representative, WTO, Geneva, to the grade of Additional Secretary, according to an official release.
