Breakdown in Indian Rayon unit

MUMBAI: Indian Rayon & Industries has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that there has been a breakdown in the 16.50 MW power plant of the company's Veraval unit on January 30, c leading to stoppage of operations at the caustic soda plant of 33,000 tpa capacity.

The plant is expected to restart around March 31.However, VFY operations remain unaffected and the normal production is going on.
