Alliances & Joint Ventures Think Harbor pact with BenchmarkPortal Our Bureau
BANGALORE: Think Harbor, a consulting and program management services company on Monday set up its base in Bangalore and announced their first strategic alliance with BenchmarkPortal Inc, a datamart of best practices for Purdue University's Center for Customer Driven Quality. Mr Aparup Sengupta, Founder & Managing Director, Think Harbor, said ``Our company is positioned strategically to offer its services to both the end customer and service provider through a combination of consulting, program management and IP creation to create and sustain a world class outsourcing experience.'' ``The demand supply gap in the outsourcing space is huge and for India to position itself as a world-class destination in this area, we need to bring lateral thinking to meet customer expectations through innovative investment structuring, different fund options and large scale of operations,'' he said. Promoted by a team of five professionals with senior management experience in the consulting and IT industry, Think Harbor is aiming to address the remote services operations space by primarily focusing on opportunities in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), call centre, customer relationship management (CRM), technical support operations and IT enabled services outsourcing as its potential market. It is the first management and business consulting company to be funded by Global Technology Ventures.
