NEW DELHI, Feb. 4

THE British Small Business Services is in the process of creating a specific area on the Business Link extranet for Indian officials working on business support to exchange information and views, according to the British Minister for Small Business, Mr Nigel Griffith.

Addressing a luncheon meeting on Monday, the Minister also stressed on further developing the co-operation existing between India and the UK in the field of small and medium sector industries.

Mr Griffith said that the UK, which is the second largest business trading partner of India, has introduced `Enterprise initiative: India'.

It is designed particularly to help British SMEs enter the Indian market and set up partnership with Indian busi- nesses.

Mr Ashok Pradhan, Secretary, SSI and ARI, said that India and the UK can work closely to explore more ways to further strengthen the links between SMEs of the two countries.
