According to the dock sources, both arrival and departure of vessels are getting delayed, sometimes even by more than 24 hours, causing enormous problems for both the users of the dock and the dock authorities. The berths are virtually clogged with vessels, even as a number of vessels suffer from pre-berthing detention. More
