Fertilisers Nagarjuna Fert net declines Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (NFCL) has posted a sales turnover of Rs 285.12 crore, other income of Rs 4.73 crore and a net profit of Rs 19.27 crore during the quarter ended December 31, 2001. Both the turnover as well as the profit declined compared to the turnover of Rs 303.84 crore and a profit Rs 30.58 crore registered in the same period the previous year. According to the unaudited financial results taken on record by the company's board, NFCL's earning per share stood at Rs 0.46. It has incurred an expenditure of Rs 161.11 crore and provided Rs 81.13 crore towards interest charges and Rs 28.47 crore towards depreciation during the period under consideration.
