Chemicals Vanavil Dyes net down Our Bureau
MUMBAI: Vanavil Dyes and Chemicals Ltd has recorded a lower net profit at Rs 16.23 lakh for the quarter ended December 31, 2001 as compared to Rs 1.37 crore in the corresponding period the previous year. Net sales and income from operations declined to Rs 8.90 crore (Rs 15.78 crore). The pigments and intermediates business is substantially export-oriented and continues to be affected by the slowdown of several Western economies, said a press release.
