Dull movement in leather
A DULL movemement, especially in goat and sheep skins and cow hides, was witnessed in trading in all kinds of leather last week. In raw centres, while the prices of cow hides were reported to have declined by Rs 50-150 a piece from the existing levels, a marginal reduction of Rs 5-15 was noted in sheep skin prices due to poor arrival of selection -- primarily that of 30-40 per cent of rainy defects in the lots.
