BHEL: In for hard times?
THOUGH the earnings performance of Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) for the 2000-20001 fiscal has not been very impressive, the stock has been moving up in the recent past. Over the fortnight, the stock has gained close to 5.35 per cent to close at Rs 183 .05. The movement in the stock seems to have been largely driven by liquidity rather than changes in the fundamentals of the company.
